Tabletop Estimate
let’s do this!
As I mentioned when meeting with you all, I’d love to work with Parlor because you have a great brand, and I’d love to partner with you in telling that story visually with a great aesthetic.
option 1 - tabletop shoot
For the most efficient budget, I'd suggest keeping the same background color. We can always get more creative with backgrounds and other ideas, but since we are trying our best to keep the budget low I will try my best to clarify limitations.
In a tabletop shoot I only need one assistant, or gaffer. No other crew are needed. My goal would be to shoot four donuts in one day that are provided by Parlor. This would include extra toppings or supplies to showcase the product according to the correct branding.
The cost breakdown as seen below includes: Pre production - creative, research, and meeting with the client; Production - paper backdrop, turntable, lighting, and camera; Post production - edit, score, and color grade.
Cost breakdown
Pre production: $500
Production: $1,850
Post Production: $1,500
Total: $3,850
The challenge with tabletop is making each donut unique. The example video above is chocolate, but I would love to research other creative ideas to keep things current and unexpected. While this takes time, it is valuable to the aesthetic.
option 2 - retainer
Another option is to create a monthly retainer contract. I would drop the cost 20% and create 5 table top donuts per month. Each month, I could change the background color and tweak the creative just a bit between shots. As we produce table top videos, it would be my goal to create a library of visuals so we could create future edits of different lengths for various purposes. I want you to get the most as possible out of your investment in high quality production.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to meet in person with you all again and discuss further options. I think Parlor offers a superior product that I would love to showcase visually.
Thanks for taking the time to meet with me last week.
